Just like its names says, the Crimson Crisp has a wonderfully crisp flesh, which is firm and fine-grained.  It has a lot of juice and  a very good sweet-tart balance. Yellow flesh that has beautiful red skin over a yellow background.

The flavor is superior; it is honeyed and aromatic with notes of caramel. Crimson Crisp has a long harvest season about a month and it holds well on the tree.

This apple is fun to eat and ripens early to mid September to late October.
